When you arrive
at Village Orthodontics, we ask that you sign in at the on-deck computer
to let us know that you are here.
One of
our treatment coordinators will meet you
in the waiting room and give you a guided
tour of the office. If possible, please have
your patient
information and medical history forms filled out before you arrive. This
allows Dr. Haskins to see you in a timely
manner.
It is
our desire to provide for your orthodontics
needs both thoroughly and efficiently. At
the first visit, Dr. Haskins will perform
a thorough exam and discuss the existing
concerns.
The doctor, together with the
treatment coordinator, will explain the appropriate treatment
plan. One of the following outcomes will be determined at
this first visit:
Patient
is ready for treatment
No treatment
is indicated
Treatment will
be needed, but the timing is such that it should be delayed
until appropriate growth, tooth eruption, or other factors
are reconciled.

When indicated, if you are
ready to start treatment, we will take impressions of your teeth
or place separators. If the doctor decides you are not ready for
treatment, you will be placed in our Pre-Orthodontics Guidance Program
where the doctor can monitor your growth and development. The doctor
will then see you at six month intervals until you are ready to begin
treatment.
